Presentation and taste: It looked and tasted amazing. But the lack of stars came down to communication, invoicing and flavours. We had a cake tasting day 7 months ago and confirmed 4 flavours: Raspberry and White Chocolate; Caramello; Chocolate Fudge & Vanilla. She did try to push more flavours, but we only wanted 4 flavours. On our wedding day, the small cake was confirmed to be raspberry and white chocolate but when we cut it, it was chocolate fudge and most of the cupcakes I saw were chocolate fudge too. I was pretty annoyed because I specifically said Raspberry and White Chocolate because thats my hubbys flavour!I had to chase the owner up for an invoice EVERY. MONTH the whole time we were in communication, and every time shed say she will get it to me in the weekend hmm. It wasnt until two weeks before the wedding we got a final total of how much it was going to cost but it still wasnt a real invoice, it was just an email.Anyway, if youre going for aesthetics and taste, go with them. However if you want to make sure you get what you want, be prepared to keep hounding the owner.
Katey did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding cake. She created a four tier cake with butter cream icing which not only looked fantastic but tasted great as well.
