Good service
Not impressed and concerned that RACQ Cooroy is promoted as a RACQ Approved mechanic. The problem with our car was misdignosed to be dirty fuel, which would have shown up as a problem in all cylinders not just 1&4, as per the diagnostic. Graham head mechanic suggested draining fuel tank then replacing the fuel filter and noisy fuel pump $1000. Also, changing plugs and coils $600. After not agreeing with his assumptions. It ended up costing us $380 including a $250 labour charge to change plugs and add spitfire and metho. We nervously drove the car home with the same misfire problem. Next we took it to another mechanic, who correctly diagnosed and performed an intake clean with a 3 bond petrol engine conditioner, fixed it for $45. WT!! Beware of this business. Asking around locally we have heard of several other people receiving inflated labour charges and over servicing from them as well.
Horrible I wouldn't go there if they where the only service center in town. Took my van in for a safety certificate booked in for 10.30 took all day to get it back. Very picky on some tiny issues, and then they didn't want to do any of the work. very unfriendly.
Absolutely excellent service. Broke down 400km from home and were towed there by RACQ. They went above and beyond to get me back on the road again.
Lovely people, honest, thorough & competent. The loan car and extra care were very much appreciated! Far from home you can be at the mercy of the local mechanic but we were well looked after. Thankyou :)
